when I saw this boat in cologne (about 25 years ago) it was moored with 'DS Rudesheim' and I, being unable to see properly from the shore, thought it was a diesel paddler because of the apparent sponson houses but I see now it's not!

WAPPEN VON KÖLM, WAPPEM VON MAINZ, LORELEY and BERLIN have/had sponsons with Voith-Schneider propulsion units underneath them. The first two re still in the fleet, BERLIN was sold to the Netherlands last year and I think LORELEY was scrapped, so this must be the former BERLIN

There were also some similar but smaller vessels operating on the River Weser between Hamaln and Hann. Münden
