I went for evening cruise around the Bristol channel in the Glen Gower, when I was 10 years old.  That would be in 1952. I can even remember watching the engines working and the noise. i may be wrong, but I think the cost for a family of four was 50 pence.  Ten shillings in those days.   8)

Tremendous !

So used to seeing Caledonia with the enclosed bridge in photos, to see footage of her (and Mercury) without is great.  8)
