I went for evening cruise around the Bristol channel in the Glen Gower, when I was 10 years old. That would be in 1952. I can even remember watching the engines working and the noise. i may be wrong, but I think the cost for a family of four was 50 pence. Ten shillings in those days.

So used to seeing Caledonia with the enclosed bridge in photos, to see footage of her (and Mercury) without is great.
