Light and nice build--The Civil War sure produced so many innovative designs - on the sea- under the sea and on the battle field!! Is your parquet floor in 4" squares? So your hull is about 22" long?

Last project - lifeboats for my ship. It was the main subject of my construction at last two week. And now I know how it make. Not excellent, but on the right way. As I think.
At attached pictures, you can see the plan that I used for the last variant of lifeboats. Also you can see the previous variant - #1 (hull) and #2 (form for the hull). At the same pictures #4 clear lifeboats hull, and #3 - planked with paper strips.

Looks really very nice indeed...definitely has the 'feel'.
Has she had her maiden voyage yet?
And...you must be planning your next one by now??...

Thank you.
No she has not had her maiden voyage yet. Some part of engine and RC was removed and not finished. Actually, superstructures and funnels not fixed on his places. They standing there only for photo.
I have one unfinished experimental project. It's not about paddle steamer.

Hi PD's.......just a minor point Taifoon78...
..we should no be able to see the
green
port side light when viewing from a starboard side angle.......
Possibly the LEDs'need to be tucked in close
to the right angled corner.......Derek

Yes. You are right, derekwarner_decoy. It's don't like me to. I should make it right way from the beginning.

During the last time I have some problem with engine and accumulator battery. The engine was too weak, and I replaced it with more powerfull one. But battery I will replace in the future.
Also I was forced to improve the rudder-control system. Previouse scheme was not so good in the water.
And during the construction, I was made mistake with weights placement. The stern too deeper in water. Not as I expected.
Today was the first sea trial. The wether was fine for this event. No wind, and no waves.
