Hi

Quote from: kno3
Please tell me where did you buy the paddle-wheels from and how much were they?

the parts a laser cutted at a local laser cutting shop

stainless lasercutted parts for 2 wheels are nearly 200$
And then you have to turn 96 screws of stainless steel
and to weld the 16 paddles

This is an engine I have in my sights for a future build.  Unfortunately the pictures Frank posted have disappeared  :(

I have the plans scanned from the ME 1965 magazines, but the image quality is rather poor.  If anyone has other photos of this model I would appreciate seeing them.

Also, if Kiwi is still on the boatd, I wonder if he would mind sharing his CAD drawings.

Hi all PDs,
I'm a brand new member here and I have to say, I'm confused (and a little disillusioned):  this thread has been about heaping praise on an excellent build but how on Earth does one get to see the blooming thing.  ALL your <censored> links are Dead, as in Dodo, as in "Dead Parrot" sketches et al.

Try "http://irc.global-radio.ch/JimmyBondi/Diagonal/Video1.avi" (or any of Jimmi's jpegs come to that) and you get 404 File Not Found, and that's from only a couple of months ago.

It's bad enough when folks on Modelboatmahem use photobucket for videos, which crash my browser, but at least I can see still images on photobucket so as to have some idea what colleagues are yacking-on about.

Chaps, please make me a happier chappie - if I have to wait a long time for your bloody-slow server to respond, at least let there be something better than a 404 at the end of it.

I can appreciate the annoyance Geoff, but if you look at the link you gave as an example, you'll see they are hosted on another website, not on Paddleducks, so we have absolutely no control over them!

Regards

No,

Jimmybondi has moved and so he lost his internetconnections, and then he had to go into hospital.
