U.S.S. WESTFIELD was a good looking sidewheeler and the Union Flagship
in the 2nd Battle of Galveston Harbour where Confederate forces
prevailed and "Harriet Lane" was captured on New Years Day 1863. After
running aground in an effort to protect "Harriet Lane" she appears to
have been scuttled to avoid capture.

The "USS Westfield" would make an effective model subject for those
interested in paddleships of the Civil War. A picture and more
information can be found on the page I gave you for "Harriet."

CORRECTION
"Harriet Lane" was not lost in a storm in the 1870's but ended up as a
freighter called the "Elliot Richie" and was lost in a storm off
Pernambuco, Brazil, on May 13, 1884.
