The vast majority of British  paddlers were " taken up" for naval service in both world wars and served gallantly as minesweepers and latterly as Anti aircraft ships in WW2. Many were lost to mines and enemy action.
 I have just found an excellent site detailing the wreck of PS KYLEMORE which was bombed and sunk off the Norfolk coast. It is a fascinating divers survey of the wreck detaling what can be found and seen. An unnusual insight into the fate of a fine paddler.

Well done Walter,

you've managed to combine two of my interests in one website! I don't do much diving these days - the water around NZ is a bit cool for my liking but I've done a bit in more tropical climates over the years - makes for nice easy diving does warm water!

And diving a paddler site - what a bonus!
