Christian von Burg is a swiss engineer living near Schaffhausen, Rhine river. He has build this nice and interesting sternwheeler "JOSEPH CONRAD" with one-cylinder longstroke engine and wood fired boiler. The boiler was constructed with serial made heating radiators, cylinder of engine also is a serial made hydraulic cylinder with absolute tightness piston. The casco of the boat was made in traditionally manner by a local boat builder.

At the pictures he is underway at the upper Rhine between Untersee (Lake Constance) and Schaffhausen.
