Dear friends and neighbors,

one of the first publications in Germany about steamdriven ship models arised in 1963 - "Dampfmaschinen f?r Schiffsmodelle" by Theodor Vieweg.
I bought the pubication as a ten years old boy. Of course, in this time I was not able to build one of the describted engine models.

But in september 2024 in german ebay this four cylinder single acting engine was offered - the same engine what was describtet in the magazine 60 years ago. The engine model was offered defect for low price. I got the model and repaired. Here the result - the engine is running - but not very well with steam leaks, the prezision between the usual in trade used brass tubes for piston and cylinder seems not very good.
So I the model will be on display in my little collection.
