Greetings from downunder, and thankyou for the forum.
I have done a few models - just completed a Shannon lifeboat and a Severn lifeboat currently in progress (that will be quite a journey!).
I enjoy wooden building but have relied on kits until now - Aeronaut Bellissima and Queen.
Always had a yearning for a paddleboat but the planking bit has put me off, but i should give it a go. Thinking about the Strongbow or the Waverley.
Cheers
Jeff
Welcome Jeff.....what part of this big land are you from?
Spend some time reading postings on various builds from the home page or our archives
You will find many spectacular builds....
Planking a hull is a most satisfying experience..[although sometimes :ranting ]
There are a great bunch of experienced members :gathering here who will happily offer assistance by way of response, so don't be afraid to ask questions as you build
