Hi there.  
I noticed in this months Old Glory that the Waverley is running short of money and the auditors have asked the places that she calls at on the Clyde to each dip into their pockets for GBP10,000 each. They say that the cost of insurance and fuel have recently both risen steeply. The article is headed “ Waverley in plea for council cash”. Everyone who can take a trip on her should try and do so to help her meet her expenses.  
There is also a very nice picture of PS Waimarie sailing on the Wanganui River. It is reported that she has had a 68,000 manhours of work and NZ$1.8 million spent on her. She certainly looks in great shape. Well done New Zealand. (see www.riverboats.co.nz )

Bad case of Deja Vu in this article lol! so Waverly is under strife...not good, wouldn't want her to end up like the Ryde
