Great news.
Why was she only allowed to stay out of the water for only an hour, was it really because the visitor centre wasn’t finished?
Surely a proper survey could not be carried out in that time as it is suggested? (maybe a cursory glance?)

WHAT A YEAR??????
******The Maid of Loch out of the water.
******Medway Queen finally awarded lottery money.
******John H Amos due to be lifted onto a barge shortly.
Can all this really be happening, after so many years of nothing?? Will I wake up soon?
Fantastic
Regards
David

Quite agree, it's excellent news.
All we need now is for a paddler enthusiast to win the lottery euromillions tomorrow and save the Ryde (possibly have a new hull constructed, possibly rebuild the original one...)
Still, things are already better than I would have dared to hope for  :D
