I found the following image on the net whilst looking for something else the other day.... In my mind, it has to be one of the nicest conversions of the Graupner Glasgow that I've ever seen! Sadly I have no idea who built it

This is a graupner glasgow, built in 1998, steam powered...
I try to make a replica of these steamer tugs, buy by us confederate army, and equipped with sails to cross atlantic océan from england to Carolina coast.
This ships are missioned to find goods and food in cuba, breaking union blocus...

Actually , always run on Solenzara river, Corsica...

You have found an old picture posted in 2011 by our Eddy Matthews of a Glasgow hull conversion, and indeed a beautiful vessel, and thanks for the history information...I had no idea some of these vessels were built in France to sail/steam to the US for the Confederate Army

My rather limited understanding of sailing vessel terminology leads me to think similar to a Brigantine? or Barquene? concept  .....either way very nice effect
