Hi, my name is Pete Munday, aged very nearly 85.   My son and I are devout model boaters, having between us 23 various boats.   I am a long time lapsed member of Paddleducks, having joined many years ago when scratch-building an electric driven Paddle Tug IONA.   The reason I have rejoined is because I have acquired a 42 inch, very ancient and tatty static model  of USS Powhatan, a 15 gun paddle driven frigate from the War of Independence.
This is my `winter project` and I intend to refurbish it and make it into a working model.   I am OK with electrics, but might need some help when I get to the mechanics of the paddle drive.   If I can get my head around posting pictures, will occasionally report progress.  Pete
