The external door to the rear deck is almost complete.

Same construction as the windows , 3 laminations of 18 x 100 mm ( 3/4 x 4 inch ) hardwood epoxy glued together .

2 x 6 treated pine screwed though 2 x 2 wall framing and hardwood decking with six and four inch batten screws ,and epoxy glued to keep pipes rigid and reduce stress to cemented pipe joints.Pipes were fitted in with a wooden block and hammer .There is a treated pine backing block screwed under the decking.

I just found it too tiring to squeeze that glue out of that 20 liter bucket.

I understand that the Titebond III is a brilliant glue     .....however having worked professionally with Lloyds and Det Norske Veritas in marine survey work, best destroy the images of Tomato sauce glue bottles .... Derek

Yes Derek , I`m very pleased with the Titebond`s  performance .
The entire outside walls are covered with canvas set in the Titebond glue .
All 40 liters of it !
Nothing seems to touch the surface at all , from below freezing cold through 40 C heatwaves , relentless sun and occasional rain.
It still looks like the day I first made the wall panels.

Your days at Lloyds and Veritas sound interesting , and working in survey , you have probably picked up numerous mistakes I have made , that I`m not even aware of .Still , I`m doing my best to do a reasonable job given my limited budget  , but if I really mess up with something , feel free to kick my butt .....

A hardwood stile was inserted at window height , and a rebate cut to accept the lower canvas covered plywood infill panel and glazing above.

I`m hoping when all is painted that the covers will not look too awkward and bulky.
If all else fails I shall resort to the old " put a pot plant on top and soften the look " trick ........

Insulating and fitting the eaves over the foredeck.

I`m pulling the gutters apart and sealing the joiners with gutter sealant.

Manufacturer claims that they are water tight when just pushed together .
I tapped them together with a wooden block and hammer , making sure that they were fully seated .......you can guess the rest ?
Anyway , this should fix it.
