im building a sidewheeler 50" ive been looking into feathering wheels
like on the denbigh thats relly an important web sight from texas a.m
anyone have ideas i,d love to hear from you i have a marine archetect
working on hull plans he desighned a feathering sidewheel that got up

I've also seen the project Denbigh site, that ship is truly impressive
for her time period. Very advanced!

I was very surprised to find out that such "Feathering" wheels existed
at the time she was operated. I may have to stop my research into the
Lady Elgin for a while, and build a scale working model of the Denbigh
simply because they have more three dimensional data about the Denbigh
as opposed to the apparent nonexistent Marine Architect blueprints for
the Lady Elgin.
