For those that are travelling large distances, it's probably time to make hotel bookings etc if you haven't already done it?

Wouldn't ya know    Just as well I had my GLASGOW on the water today for a steering event - it came out with 400ml of water inside, I know because I sucked it out with a 50ml syringe.    I found the leak     but it's right in the bow where fingers can't reach.  Still I have plenty time to figure it out    and effect a repair before paddler day.

Only ONE week to go now!

So we hope there will be LOTS of visitors on Sunday September 4th!

      DDMBC is just about ready for visitors.  Grass is cut     Hedge is trimmed     Pies are ordered     so we are ready to     on Sunday.. See you there 

I'm all set Bob. The bits for the 'Bring 'n Buy' are sorted and 'Inchcolm & its Tx charged and ready to paddle. I'm also fasting in preparation for Saturday's curry with Eddy, Hans etc. Let's hope the weather is good - that would be a change for this year.
