Paraguay (fake?) paddle vessel

While trying desperately to find a river voyage which fits my April plans, I found this vessel:
http://cruceroparaguay.info/eng/imagenes.php
and follow the links to see all, or go to
http://cruceroparaguay.info/eng/tecnicos.php
I feel that it is MV Paraguay, built with fake paddleboxes.

I was willing to pay its fares, but it takes a break from February to May.  The much cheaper local boats are unreliable, and I am on a fairly tight itinerary.
The Brazilian boats (including the steam one) are too remote for my available time.

it looks like there are people inside them in some of the pictures, maybe they're the companionways?
Looks like a good holiday though  8)

There is a two-funelled steam tug preserved in Brazil, LAURINDO PITTA.
