Now that Christmas is almost over for another year, what did everyone get? Anything nice?

As usual, my wife and daughters asked me what I wanted, and as usual my mind went blank!  So no modelling stuff, but I did get quite a bit that I needed....

2 pairs of shoes, one dress pair and one with really good grips on the soles for this winter weather. A new coat (my old one had a knackered zip so was useless!), some aftershave and other "pongy stuff", some cash, and various other odds and ends....

Even the dragon-in-law came over for Christmas lunch, and we didn't argue once! :)

So all in all a good day.....

Well first the Turkey got stuffed then the whole family got stuffed. I got some small items that are useful, a new 1" micrometer, a butane soldering/torch for pond side repairs (my old one I have used for about 15 years and it was starting to show its age, it was bought at Radio Shack which has disappeared from Canada and the USA site doesn't show it) and best of all a DVD of the African Queen (my VHF tape is wearing out). I have finally got most of the leftovers away (Turkey for the next few days) and all but my wife and daughter have gone.  I hope the rest of you had as good a day.
Regards,
Gerald.

Sledge as in Sledge Hammer?
Is that a new modelling tool?

Gerald.
