Several years ago I've built a model of a small sternwheeler tug called Temesvar.

Since then I am playing with the idea of building it at a larger scale and steam powered. So when I found this forum, I registered immediately, and I am sure I will find here lots of useful information for this project.

Good to have you with us Gyula, welcome to Paddleducks, I'm sure everyone will help with your build if you decide to proceed with your steam powered model..... It's an interesting looking tug, is it Romanian?
~ Never, ever, argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience ~

It was built in 1894 in Budapest, and was used on a small channel called Bega   near Timisoara(city in the south west of Transylvania). After WW I. when Transylvania was given to Romania, the boat served under Romanian flag, until around 1970.
It is 27,10 m long and 5,80 m wide.
Some drawings are available here, on the bottom of the page

Hello Gyula and Welcome to paddle ducks. You live in a part of the world which built and used a lot of paddle steamers which are a secret to most of us! Thanks for posting the plan, it is most welcome.
I seem to remember from a long time ago seeing a Romanian modrel magazine which was excellent for its plans and articles. Do you still have such a magazine in  your country?. I still have a set of river gunboat plans from it. Please keep in touch with paddleducks and post anything you have on your countries paddlers for the rest of us!!!. Regards to you, walter.
Blessed are the "cracked" -for they let in the light for the rest of us.
