Hi PDS

I am looking for an easy Aus paddler model to build. Any suggestions?I have made a number of airfix type plastic model ships and aircraft but have never made a model paddler in my life.

Does anyone know if there are any kits for any Aus paddlers, or do I have to make one from plans or from scratch?

Hi PDs

Further to my question about models for beginners, has anyone made a model of the ps royal falcon from myhobbystore.com?

It says that this is a very easy model to build. Does anyone have any pictures of the royal falcon?

Thanks,

.you will find the full article and reduced plan in the downloads section of paddleducks listed as Model Maker magazine under unknown date (last item in Model maker downloads) I built this model when the plan was first published about fifty years? ago. My brother and me sailed it across lake Ulswater following in a canoe, changing batteries half way across.  it never shipped a drop of water though it was quite choppy. regards, walter.
Blessed are the "cracked" -for they let in the light for the rest of us.

Hi Ned and Grant,

As Walter said above, you'll find the full article on building the Royal Falcon in our downloads section. Click on the following link to go straight to it:

Hello

I just thought that an easy Aus paddler model to build might be the ps mary ann?
Is this true and would there be anywhere apart from Dick Bromhead and the ps decoy to get the plans?

Hi PD's & hullo Ned...we were privileged to have a cup of tea [Karina had :coffee] on board with the owner of the hulk of PS Decoy @ Mannum a few years back [Captain DB has many un- published lithographs of Decoy], but there are no published plans for PS Decoy...............I drew my guestimate plans & waterlines for Decoy in 12/2000 & these are posted in our archives... however are only say  :hammer 50% correct  :sob

If you consider building an OZ paddler... :respect2 ...get that dad of yours 'Grant' to look into plans................... :computer & find an OZ vessel that plans are available ..... :kewl
