A 43inch long model of an old paddler which gave long service in the West Highlands from 1846 until 1931
OK, so I cheated and used Graupner plastic paddle wheels
But Graupner wheels are quite substantial in heavy weather at Tynemouth!
You and Lachie could have a ball together....he's a rough water man too.
Nice model.
Any
MACBRAYNES modern LOCHFYNE and ancient GLENCOE
Very nice, Sandy, I'm sure I have seen a photo of these two together at the Broomielaw, when the Lochfyne was new. The Lochfyne had the grey hull livery then
Clark
Correct Fitz,
the photo of LOCHFYNE and GLENCOE together was in 1931 when LOCHFYNE was new, and GLENCOE was reaching the end of her 85 years.
MacBraynes always seem to get their moneys worth out of their ships
