My Dad and I have tried to attach some photos of an old model wooden model that my aunt found for me at at a market but we can't get our heads around the re-sizing just at the moment. We will keep trying....
In the meantime, can you give us some ideas as to how to make a funnel and three floodlights, and how to repair the life rings which have also been damaged.
Thanks!
Ned
If you and your dad are having problems resizing the photos, just send them to me via email at admin@paddleducks.co.uk
I'll redo them to a suitable size for the forum and send them back via email - You can then use the resized photos to post your message....
Photos added to Ned's original post....
Lifebelts aren't worth repairing Ned - They are only a few pence to buy from any decent model shop, and come in a range of sizes.
For a funnel, you can take any suitable piece of plastic tube, cut it to length and paint it - Or if you can't find a suitable size, roll your own from a sheet of styrene, aluminium, or even plywood...
As for floodlights, thats a bit more difficult, but basically it's just a series of tubes, so there's nothing that should be beyond you or your Dads abilities - By the way, what is Dads name? It seems silly to keep referring to him as "Dad" :)
Thanks for putting the pictures up Eddy, and the solutions. My Dads name is Grant.
