Dug out some old photos of my earlier fleet!
Gorgeous Sandy, I've always admired your models....

Very impressive. Were these built back in 1980 ? Are you building anything at the moment ?
Ken
Hi Ken,
the photo was taken in 1985, and since then I've built an older "JUPITER" , "MAID OF THE LOCH" and a new model of my older "MARCHIONESS OF LORNE".
I'm now building a grey funnel line boom defence vessel for a change.
By the way, I wouldn't recommend using Graupner Voith schneider units as they are not worth the money, I have two in the car ferry version of "JUPITER" in the photo.

Any suggestions on alternates for the Graupner Voith schneider units ? I did see a home made one yearago at a Model Engineering show http://www.modelengineeringsoc.com/ , but can't find the photos I took.

Gerald
I have a picture in my records of this unit. I'm afraid I don't know anyone that has duplicated it. Looks a touchy type of unit to me. I've yet to assemble paddle wheels on my next project.
Ken
Have you checked out this site yet???

They are well engineered, just wish I could make them.

The one I had seen was much simpler.
