Here's an ad for one taken from a mag (either model boats, radio control boat modeller or marine modelling international, don't remember which...) from about 15 or so years ago...

I've never owned one though, and have only ever seen one in a modelshop...

Since this post started I've been searcching for pics of my Southern Belle but to no avail. I know they're somewhere but after a forced re-install of XP two weeks ago I can't find them! Just bear with me! The model was built about 20 years ago and I converted the original drive to geared and this seems to be an improvement. It's also fitted with an electronic steam engine/steam whistle sound kit and smoke generators. Runs very well and a great crowd pleaser. When I find those pics I'll post them!

I don't think this is the Krick Southern Belle. The Krick plans show a hull length of 29" or 36" to the rear of the paddle. Beam is 10.5". The planking on this model looks like real planks whereas the Krick version is ply covered with thin card strips. However the Krick version also features cardboard boilers and funnels. The fencing round the decks looks to be square rather than the original Krick round dowel. I actually replaced mine with brass stanchions and brass wire - and now wish I hadn't!
The e-bay model does look nice though - albeit you would need to evolve a drive to the paddles and fit a rudder.  As regards price - who knows? Always very subjective. I would have reckoned about £150 ($255 US) with the motor. Don't hold me to it though!
