It's all in the interpretation of the English language - Leighton in my very early days as a PD, I posted a grammatically
ambiguous message that stated my proposed PS Decoy was going to be say 100 times bigger than actually planned

I could be wrong here, but I have assumed you have or intend to build a scale version of a replica vessel which may
or may not yet be built, but when completed the full size vessel will be a stern wheeler of some 150' x 35'

In my summation to the court I would suggest that you will have stated that your vessel will be a scale version of the above,
however I will further suggest from your words "somewhat smaller than the proposed replica full size vessel" - Derek

Hi Derek
Thanks for that. To set the record straight:-
I have designed and drawn the exterior of a stern Wheel Paddler
steamer on a CAD system. From there I am in the process of building
a static model to a scale of 1:55 (thats the size that fits on an A1
sheet of paper). This will be used to help raise the necessary
finance to design and build a Stern Wheel Paddle Steamer
approximately 150' x 35' x 18" (draft hopefully)
The Paddler's name will be "Spirit of Waikato" and run on our local
Waikato river. She will be based in Hamilton and be fully steamed.
Diesel lighting fuel will be used to heat the boilers. The engines
have been designed with a 15" bore and 60" stroke and will give 40
RPM to the paddle.
PJ. I am having trouble getting photos onto the gallery, I've got
the album name up ok but nothing else. Any thoughts please.
