Hello All,
Just a quick update of my progress on America 1852. So far (103.5
Hours) the hull, main deck and cabin, engine room, stack, pilothouse
and lower paddleboxes are complete and painted. Just finished the two
towing bits and capstan. The main deck hawse openings are complete
and installed and awaiting their railings. By way of information this
is a 1/192 scale model that will be a waterline model until my friend
Len photographs her for his painting. Then the lower portion of the
hull will be attached to form a full hull model for display purposes.
