Thanks to the admin for letting me join.

I am from south east Kent and I have been making all sorts of wooden things for a while now, especially since retiring. I'm currently building a model narrowboat from scratch and my next project is a kit paddlesteamer that I bought from Hobbys.

I'm not a carpenter just a hobbyist and I've learnt by my mistakes as I go along, luckily for me none of the mistakes have cost much money just time and effort.
