As requested by Damien, i will happily share my rowing boat build photos.
There will be limited text to accompany to photos here as it would take me far to long to retype the last few months of building. but there are enough photos to get a decent idea of what i was thinking through to where i am now.
The build is almost finished on start of this post, leaving only painting final varnishing and some details to add.
The photos are 'honest' meaning they will show mistakes and redesign as i build, i did not use a plan for this build, i simply started with a GRP hull purchased on ebay and used a lot of google images for inspiration.
I must point out there are plans for such boats, however given i am building this boat as a concept ( and will in fact re-build into a much larger scale) this model gave me great ideas and allowed me to experiment.
IT is not a true scale replica it is a working model build around the equipment needed to be installed and at 13" beam leaved me with very limited options to hide the electronics ( something a true scale detailed model would have struggled to do), i do not enjoy models with exposed electronic equipment as they detract from the fantasy of model.
