23rd April 2016 Clyde Steamer and Open Day

The Model Steamer Club will be hosting their Clyde Steamer Day at the pond in Rouken Glen Park on Saturday 23rd April, 2016 for 1200 till 1600.

All welcome.

The pond has recently been emptied and much work carried out including a launching platform for model boaters.

Come along and sail and enjoy the day.

I would have loved to come up to the show, but sadly it's now too close to make arrangements with work commitments etc...

Maybe you could let us know the dates for next years show so I can try to plan for that one Sandy?

Apologies for the late posting.

I'll try better next time. I am not an MSCoG committee member but thought I would post it up anyway just in case anyone in or about Glasgow was interested. If there is a wider interest in attending, I will see what I can do for the future.

Worth noting it isn't just for paddlers but all steamers, even warships... I hope seeing as how I am taking along Gloxinia.

At present the MSCoG is having another open sail day on the 18th of June at Rouken Glen which is Armed Forces Day.

Also, another End Of Season sail is planned but a date undecided as yet.
