Graupner Wheels
« on: September 12, 2014, 07:36:20 PM »
Hi, can anybody help with a set of instructions for the building of the Graupner 581 wheels? I have recently scored a set of wheels off our local internet auction and everything seems complete except that there are no instructions. I can probably nut it out how to put them together but the first question that arises is do they need gluing as well as the push in rivets and if so what glue should i use? Hopefully someone will have a set of instructions  they can scan and email or fax to me. Cheers, Ian.

I don't have a copy of the instructions, but here's a copy of the parts diagram that comes with them.... Hopefully it will help?

Thanks for the pic Eddy, that will help. Since posting I have been told that there were no instructions included when you bought the wheels separately but they were part of the instructions you got when you bought the boat kit so maybe someone who has built the boat will be able to help. Cheers, Ian.

I've never had a problem with the Graupner wheels, I just push them together, no glue at all.

But I know others HAVE had problems, so take your pick. ;)
