New photo gallery

We are currently evaluating a new photo gallery, and would appreciate user comments on it.....  The new software is much more flexible than our current setup, but WILL mean that any photos uploaded to our current gallery will be lost if we change!

Please take a look and let us have your comments - You only have a couple of days to give your views. If the overall feedback is positive or if there is no feedback we WILL change, so now is the time to let us know!

This software is commercial and has cost a fair amount of money, so please don't dismiss it out of hand - But if you have a genuine problem with it or dislike it for whatever reason we would like to hear about it! We would obviously also like to hear if you prefer it!

Well it looks good, and I just uplaoded some shots of Echuca and its steamers as they arew the only shots I have on my computer!

I posted three photos to the new gallery. I think it's a nice gallery.

I like it too, I wouldn't find it any problem to change to this one, haven't posted too many pictures yet

We needed a better gallery than the one we have, and it's better to change early so we affect fewer people!

Definitely a good idea.  This is a much better layout.  I certainly would be happy to upload my photos again.

That's the main reason the I've tried to get it sorted as quickly as I could, so hopefully we don't have hundreds of photos that need re-uploading. If everything goes to plan I'll add the new photo gallery to the site properly tomorrow.

Since everyone seems to like the new gallery, it's now been added to the site properly - You'll have to go to the main website to access it now though:

http://www.paddleducks.co.uk/index1.htm

The old gallery has been removed, so if you had photos in there that you want people to see I'm afraid you'll have to re-upload them to the new gallery. Don't worry, this will be the LAST change to the Gallery pages so you won't have to go through this again! :-)

For those that haven't looked at the new gallery yet, it uses the same user database as the forum, so you only need to register once to access both.

Ok I have worked out my problem...the link from the hompage for me is still to the original photo gallery for some reason butif this thread stays open I can access the gallery through the link above
