MB 22
« on: July 13, 2013, 08:29:48 AM »
I am thinking about building this engine for this hull project. I have built an Oscillator for it but to me it just looks wrong.
Malcolm or anybody else what do you think?
Hull is 45" bow to stern with a 12" beam. It is very flat at the stern and sits on the water.
Suggestions welcome.

Just added a few coats of varnish, think I will leave the hull without a coat of white now. ::)

Other than one or more small leaks this is the engine running on steam.

Mark, just thought you might like to see how a standard (3/8 x 3/8) MB 22 runs. This is in a River Queen - 36" long and weighs about 14 lb. 2.25 dia prop about 3.5" pitch. Driving through a fwd/neutral/rev gearbox.
