A present for Paddleducks

In a personal email to me last week, "Decoy" Derek in Oz asked me
about image file compression programs and the best format to send
images to the group files.

"Talisman" David (Powell) also asked me the same thing yesterday. SO
here it is..one of the internet's BEST KEPT SECRETS...an ONLINE image
compressor (nothing to download) which is FAR BETTER than anything you
can buy in the shops or what you get with conventional graphics
software applications.

Go to this URL and use it for free..it's dead easy and you'll master
it in next to no time. Professionals use this constantly to compress
.jpg and .gif image formats. If there's anything you don't understand

Lets see lots of good paddler images (prototype and models) going into
our files....remember everything you send and all your ideas and
comments in this group are the basis for our Paddleducks Website.
Just one thing..if you are copying images from another site or
scanning them from a publication..can you PLEASE make sure you note
the copyright and author. Not so critical for our own files here...but
if we want to publish them on a Website, then it's imperative I know
where the images come from and who holds the copyright.
