PV Pyongyang 1:
In 1984, the then president of North Korea, Kim Il Sung, travelled on PS Dresden on Elbe River at Dresden (DDR, East Germany). He was so impressed that he ordered a replica to be built for service in North Korea. DDR cooperated by providing the plans. I haven't been able to find the place of construction, or the initial propulsion. Diesel seems more likely than steam.
The vessel was named Pyongyang 1, and was intended to be the first of a fleet, but no more were built. It entered service in 1986, plying on Taedong River to an amusement park.
It has since had the propulsion and funnel removed. The upper deck has been enclosed in a mismatched style. The vessel is moored in a central portion of the river, with landscaped banks, between Kim Il-sung Square on one side, and Juche Tower on the other. It is used as a static floating restaurant.
It is moored between two large floating restaurants, which can move, but are constrained by bridges. There are also smaller cruise ferries nearby.
