Well the Waverley is finally back on the bench, and I have been playing with some more detail work, making two gangways and attempting to get the handrails looking O K. not quite sure  of them yet.   :-\ :-\

Well I have done a bit more to her, and made a few more bits and pieces they are all just sitting there at the moment but she seems to be coming along well now, still not too happy with the handrails but we will have to see how they come out when they are all painted.
thats all for now   G :-\ :-\eo.

Great progress, Geo, and so quickly! I think you have got the funnels spot on size and rake. Did you find some tube the right size or make them from scratch? I did a small Waverley many years ago and it took me about three go's to get the funnels looking ok!
Keep the pics coming
cheers
Clark

Hello Clark   the funnels are black drain pipe 50mm Dia from B&Q.  Really lucky with the size it matches her new funnels just right, thanks for your feed back matey. ;) ;) :c017

Thanks Kim    this one is completely different and out of my comfort zone as it is only 1/53rd scale and I have hands like Malt shovels.date=1322527527]

I'd love to see you do a paddle tug i could learn a lot i'm sure!

Regards,
Kim

Geo,
Given your efforts so far I would be very disappointed if you didn't do a Paddle Tug in the future!
Keep up the good work!

Kim

Hi Pee Wee   No that is one thing that I really don't like to see on models just a personall thing I have seen so many boats spoiled by oversize annd silly looking figures, in fact it is a laughing point in our club , I often find little men hidden on my boats in all sorts of places  ;D ;D so sorry no little men for me.  Geo. :sunglasses
