Frigate Amazonas

Hi there, Paul,

You asked me for other pictures of model of the Brazilian frigate
Amazonas, which belongs to the Brazilian Naval and Oceanographic
Museum, here in Rio de Janeiro. Here you are with eight such photos,
some of not very good quality, though.

Incidentally, the Brazilian Museum, although not a very large one, is
112 years old.

Hi Alvanir:

Thank you for sending the photos of "AMAZONAS" ...BUT I have placed a
security filter on Paddleducks which "strips" out all attachments from
emails and is signified by a footer message saying.
" [Certain non-text portions of this message have been removed] "

This is done as a security precaution against outside "marauders" who would
seek to come in here with virus infected files which could be accidentally
downloaded to your computer system.

To send photographs (images), Internet links (bookmarks) etc..you can upload
them directly to Paddleducks on our file server. To access this, simply

If you have difficulty using this system, then send the photos to my
personal email (which accepts .jpgs and .gifs)and I will put them up in an
"AMAZONAS" folder where everyone can see them, and where ongoing reference
about her can be stored online. (I also happen to think that the London
Museums may be able to shed some light on her plans.)
