Quite a few people have asked if we could move the date of the Paddler Day so that it doesn't clash with the Great North Run, as accomodation can be difficult to get at short notice...
So with that i mind, we have three alternatives that are viable for us as a club....
Sunday August 28th - A bank holiday, which clashes with the Birchwood model boat show.
Sunday September 4th - No clashes with any other events that I know of.
Sunday September 18th - The same weekend that we have used for the last three years, but it clashes with the Great North Run.
So they are your choices..... If your intending to come to the 2011 show, please vote for the one you would prefer. Please do not vote if you aren't coming as that would be meaningless!
The date which receives the most votes in the next 4 weeks will be the one that we use.... Voting will close after 4 weeks as we need to get things advertised which can take months in some cases, and some people travel from abroard and they need to arrange things a long time in advance.
