GLENCOE
« on: September 01, 2010, 06:35:21 AM »
Regret I have not been on the forum for a while, as I'm building the old MacBraynes paddle steamer GLENCOE  (ex MARY JANE) in time foe Eddy's day.
First sea trials this morning and after one or two adjustments to make, but basically I'm pleased with the performance.
The model was built entirely from photographs and is not totally accurate.
GLENCOE was one of the oldest paddlers, having been in service for nigh on 80 years.

I have to warn you that you have a spy in the camp up at Tynemouth...... I don't want to mention any names, but Joe Hardy did tell me you'd been testing today.... Whoops!! Pity I've now given the game away :hehe

Regards
Eddy
