Getting enough steam out of the funnel on a warm day is a problem. I can't do much about it with Glen Usk as she sails on a scale draft (1.5 inches). So weight is marginal. But I have increased the depth of hull on the Duke of Devonshire, so will experiment when finished and sailing properly. THOUGHTS,

but the bottom of the separator into the top of the boiler casing, ( water tube boiler so no oil in boiler water). Could this vaporise the oil as an electrical smoke generator? It would reheat the any water into steam. Or use the boiler feed pump to spray water on to the water tubes inside the boiler? What do you think Derek? Geoff a.k.a.R.G.Y.
