Hi Guys,

Unfortunately the Guestbook has been blitzed 4 times now by the porn merchants trying to promote their sad lives...

It's about the only part of the Paddleducks website that I don't have full control over - After all, it's supposed to be a Guestbook - ie. anyone can post. If I change the settings so that only registered users can post it sort of defeats the object.

Each time they post their rubbish I delete the it, so it may eventually make them realise they're wasting their time, but I doubt it. Because of this the Guestbook feature may have to go...

I thought I'd give fair warning in case it gets deleted and people are wondering where it's gone - I certainly do NOT want porn to be part of this site, and I hope that the members will understand my actions if I'm forced into that position.

Why do these idiots insist on spamming everywhere with their drivel? Not everyone on the internet wants to view this rubbish despite what some people think!

Hi Eddie - just an  :idea:  - leave the guest book ICON open, but delete the functionality in posting there

You could add a clear message on why the facility has been withdrawn so any potential PD member may actually join as opposed to just post etc - Derek

Unfortunately the Guestbook URL has obviously been circulated around the porn sites - After removing over 60 obscene posts and links to porn websites today alone I decided enough was enough - So no more guestbook I'm afraid.

It's sad that these morons cannot find anything better to do, but such is life I guess...

I fully agree eddy, those idiots that just waste their time posting on people's guestbooks are jerks! They hcked into my MSN once and I found myself having every internet hooker in my contact list...not a good thing for a guy my age...na uh.

So now they get me sooooo annoyed that...yeh, well they get me annoyed!
