I'm not new, but I'll start things off. People know me as Towboat Joe because I specialize in building models of inland river work boats. I live in the U. S. in a town called Flatwoods, Kentucky. It's located about a mile from the Ohio River across from Ironton, Ohio and about 15 miles from Huntington, West Virginia.

I have been building models for towing companies and individuals since 1992 and have built 54 boats since then. I primarily build in 1:48 and 1:87 scales. Once in a while I'll build in 1:32 and 1:24. I also provide plans of towboats and barges on my web site. I also have a few paddle wheelers. Visit my site at http://www.towboatjoe.com

Joe   This reply is a year late, but your site is an excellent one to visit, for any builder.

I'm glad you posted here Stu. I noticed it still had my old site that no longer exists so I went back and edited it. Thanks a bunch.
