A REAL challenge #2
« on: August 05, 2009, 08:31:36 PM »
Isn't it amazing what you stumble across when your looking for something totally different?

As far as I can make out, the current World Water Speed Record for a human powered boat is 18.5 knots, set in 1992 by MIT with their airscrew driven hydrofoil Decavitator.

Okay, Decavitator isn't a paddler, then I found this.....

So whose up for this one?

I like the "hi-tech"  cabin and seat ;DCorflute is wonderful stuff,my mate and I built aeroplanes out of it.Bit heavier than balsa, but a lot quicker and cheaper to build, and some "bounceability" in case of an "arrival" :-X
I don't think I could manage the pedaling though,I would leave that to the younger generation :hehe
