This website may be of interest to some of you. Gary Lucy (
http://www.garylucy.com/prints.html
) is an artist that lives in the Missouri River town of Washington, Missouri USA. He has done numerous paintings of early Missouri and Mississippi boats and covered the Lewis and Clark keelboat expedition as well. I have one of his prints gracing the wall of my home.

Spectacular! they're really very atmospheric, like someone took high definition photographs of the actual events

I visited his gallery a couple of years ago. He had some wonderful models of steamboats, flatboats, keelboats and other historic river craft on display. Its worth a visit if you find yourself in that area. Very pretty country as well.
