Heritage Protection Bill Petition

I have received a request to pass on a petition to sign relevant to the “Heritage Protection Bill†If one is interested, please have a look at this petition on the website and sign it, then please forward this reqest, to all of your friends with an interest in our maritime heritage.

Thanks for letting us know about the petition Len - I've added my name to the list.
Sadly, lots of other petitions have been totally ignored by the government - Fuel tax and vehicle excise duty both spring to mind! So let's hope that for once they take some notice!!

Signed! The "Heritage protection law" applies in Germany and Switzerland so there is no reason why it shouldn't be done here.

On the pain of being a pain in the backside, may I ask member's to take this issue as a serious necessity. The future of our Historic Ships depends on such petitions, please do not say look at it later, but now is the need to sign up!.

It seems this bill has been 'shelved' for the present. Hoping that at a more opportune time to reinstate it as ever!
