Independent paddledrive for my Glasgow

Hello PD's,

the photos shows the drive unit for my Glasgow with independent paddle wheels. The motors, belts, gears, and toothed wheels are from the german company, LEMO-SOLAR they offer a wide range of motors, gears and much more, i think you can find a solution for every drive problem.

Photo 1. The drive unit inside the model.
Photo 2. The front face of the drive unit.
Photo 3. The rear face of the drive unit.

That looks like a superbly engineered drive system Hans, it puts the setup in my Glasgow to shame! :(

Hans works for the BMW-Sauber Formula One team Andy, so he has access to all sorts of machining facilities - If he cannot get it made, god help the rest of us! ;)

It is very very nice though isn't it?

Hi PD's,

Eddy is right, the engine mount is mad in our CNC workshop, but i had to wait a long time (three month not F1 like) before my colleague mad the parts for me but it was it worth to wait.

Regards Hans
