Paddler day

What a wonderful day! My sincere thanks to all of you who did so much to organise this event and make us interlopers from over the border so welcome. The static and sailing displays were terrific and we were very impressed with the number and quality of the models on show. Our thanks too to the ladies in the community hall who kept us fed and watered.
Your sailing venue and the facilities you have there are excellent and the Community Council should also be proud of their involvement.
Next year we will be back and we will ensure we have a number of suitable craft with us to sail.
Again our sincere thanks for a most enjoyable event.

I'm glad you and Peter enjoyed the show Andrew, and that it was worthwhile travelling down from Edinburgh - Next year it will be bigger and better!

With overcast skies most of the morning, and about 2 hours of rain around lunchtime, I still don't understand how I managed to get sunburnt!
