Paddler get together...

Next year, Sunday June 17th 2007 to be precise, Darlington & District MBC is organising another "Paddler day".....

We did a test one earlier in 2006 and although it was mainly members of our own club it was still very succesful. Hans Freund (scotfriend) came over from Switzerland, and a couple of other Paddleducks members managed to come along too.

In 2007 we hope to make it an even bigger event, and all of the clubs in the north of England and southern Scotland will be notified of the event. So with a bit of luck it should grow considerably!

If anyone from Paddleducks would like to attend, please contact myself, or Walter Snowdon via PM and we'll send more info on the venue and give further details of the event as they are arranged.

Everyone is welcome - the more the merrier! Although it will be a basically informal get together for paddler enthusiasts, there will probably be a prize awarded for the best paddler on the day, and we hope to make this into a regular yearly event.

Wow.. Sounds like a great time.. I wish we had something like that down in OZ... Have fun on the day though...
