I probably won't have a lot of time over the next few days, so I thought I'd take this opportunity to wish everyone a very happy christmas, and all the best for a prosperous new year...

Hello all, don't get me started on the karaoke Christmas songs  :D  I'll take over the microphone and bore you all to tears    Wishing each and everyone of you a very Merry Christmas and may I also join Eddy in wishing you all a very Guid Hogmanay. Make the most of the festivities for they only come but once a year.

An Impassioned Plea here folks :  Please also remember not to drink and drive (you'll only spill it) and make everyone heed the message.

cheers

Jim

Wishing you all a hot and steamy Christmas...(no not that kind   )...one full of paddlers and presents, family and friends!

May joy be brought to you wherever you may be found in the world and may you bring joy to others in this festive season!

Merry Christmas from a place where it doesn't snow at Christmas, where instead of a 'white Christmas' we're wishing for a 'wet Christmas' to create a good river for next years River Run and to break the drought.

Merry Christmas to all!

Merry Christmas Paddleduckers
« Reply #9 on: December 22, 2006, 11:32:50 AM »
In just the few months since I joined, I have enjoyed sharing with, and learning from, other Paddleduckers.  Particular thanks to the friendly and helpful moderators.
I do hope to meet  many paddleboat enthusiasts through 2007: possibly in Europe, hopefully on Lena River, and even more hopefully on Australia's Murray River.

Today: Christmas dinner in the beautiful dining room of PS Marion, moored for 3 hours so that the engineers could join the passengers.  Notice the permanent decoration (photos of Marion through the years), and the Christmas display.  (Roderick Smith)

Merry Christmas

:D  :D  :yeah

Hi PD's,

Well here we are at the end of 8-9 weeks of hectic activity at ACS...just managed to get everything out on schedule.

Also had some further computer issues to deal with during this period...WARNING...be very suspicious of 'WINDOWS' upgrade with the latest blanket security fix for 'Outlook Express' I installed this, as with most other official upgrades, however, this one crashed my e-mail system...which took 12 hours to recover from....even with a full backup system,.... to the status it was in prior to installing the upgrade, it is now fully functional again.

I won't even think of the new 'Internet Explorer Version 7' this has more holes in than a sieve......

ACS are now shutting down until 8th January 2007......I need the break....Ah! sob!  :great  :terrific  :vacat

It only remains to wish you all a very merry Christmas and a happy and busy (paddler building) New Year.

More soon.

Best Regards to all.

Sandy. :beer  :coffee  :beer  :angel  :beer  :computer  :coffee  :coffee  :vacat
