Where do you keep the cover pictures?
« on: October 28, 2006, 01:30:50 PM »
A few days ago, just after I registered, you had a cover picture for the forum of a paddle/diesel/towboat.  As I am consideriing building a towboat, I went back to look at her and she was gone.  Is there a place that you keep such pictures?  It appears that every visit draws a new cover picture so I hope to find where you are storing them.

Where do you keep the cover pictures?

The images on the homepage are displayed at random - Each time the page loads a different one is selected...

There are only about 20 images, so just keep hitting "Home" and you'll eventually get the one you want.

Hope that helps?

To "capture" a picture from the Home Page

There is another way to find and capture a picture which had appeared on the "Paddleducks - Home Page".

While on the Home Page, refresh the screen by either
*  press the [F5] key (but without the square brackets), or
*  from the menu select - View > Refresh.

The pages are displayed in a random fashion and may repeat on consecutive screen refreshes. Do the "screen refreshes" until your required picture appears, then Right Click on the picture and move the selection marker to "Save picture as...". On the "Save Picture as..." dialog box enter the required details for the place where you wish to put the required picture.

Hope this helps,

Brian

I wonder, was it one of 'towboat joes' models? if it was, there's sure to be a page about it on his site - http://www.towboatjoe.com/ - it's well worth a look whether building one or not  :D
